AMHD 2023/24 Conference Cancelled
For a number of reasons, and after three intensive days of prayer, we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our November 24 -25 Addressing Mental Health as Discipleship conference in Toronto (Milton) ON as well as our scheduled February 2-3 conference in Vancouver (Surrey).
We apologize for any inconveniences and/or disappointment our decisions will cause you.
If you have registered for the conference, we will be refunding your registration in full before October 31.
Even though the conference is no longer running, we still firmly believe the church has a unique opportunity and responsibility to speak into the mental / emotional health crisis and will continue our efforts in equipping the church in the area of healing-discipleship (i.e. Freedom Session).
If you and/or your church are not currently offering a healing discipleship program that speaks into the area of mental and emotional health, we strongly encourage you to consider Freedom Session. We firmly believe the church has the answers to many of the mental and emotional challenges people experience. We also believe that addressing these issues proactively in discipleship, specifically breaking down the gospel into the core areas of hurt, stress, and emotional/mental pressure people experience, we can minister healing to many before the challenges they face move into the realm of mental illness.
Our team is dedicated to supporting you and/or your church launch an effective healing – discipleship strategy. Together, we can make a difference!
May God continue to guide you on how to best equip yourself to minister to those struggling in the area of mental health. We will do our best to keep you updated with any relevant resources so you can continue pressing on towards mental wellness for you and communities you represent.
