The Church
Freedom Session was initially designed for a centralized large group teaching experience with gender specific small group breakouts for discussion. In this model, churches appoint a Freedom Session Director who recruits / trains / leads a Facilitator team and emcees the large group meetings. Worship may or may not be incorporated into the large group meeting time.
Facilitators lead the small group breakout portion of the evening. This model is designed for 20 – 200+ participants.
This model allows for pastoral oversight and high quality control. Positive peer encouragement and momentum are enjoyed.

The Small Group
Freedom Session has proven very effective when hosted in a small group / home environment, wherever participants are ready to deal with the deeper issues that cause tension and pain in real life and relationship. Honesty, inner reflection and homework are all required.
Freedom Session Small Groups are gender specific, consisting of 3 – 9 participants and a Facilitator to keep the discussion on track. Multiple or mixed gender groups can meet in a larger home, enjoy the teaching together and then separate for gender specific small group discussion.
Some churches run an entire Freedom Session ministry in small groups, up to 40 groups at a time. The Covid-19 pandemic motivated churches to reconsider a decentralized discipleship model and Freedom Session fulfills that need with our Small Group Ministry Kit (and strategy).
The Freedom Session Small Group is also the answer for individuals who live where no active Freedom Session ministry is present. Interested individuals can start their own. Our experienced team members will show you how.
Online
When Covid-19 hit in spring of 2020, an entire generation embraced online community as a new reality.
Churches are now looking for quality content that moves people into meaningful interaction and practical application of biblical truth. Accountability is once again sought after. Freedom Session fits this need perfectly.

2. PLAN
A FREE one hour Planning Consultation (via phone/zoom) with an experienced team member is included with each ministry kit and will help you prepare your launch. During the Covid-19 pandemic, we have extended this offer to those who purchase the FS Small Group Ministry Kit.

3. PREPARE
Now it’s time to put your plan in motion. This phase lasts between 14 and 90 days, and addresses the following action points:

4. PLAY
It’s time to launch!
The opening Session 01 – Why Am I Here? is specifically designed for those who are already committed to the 20 weeks of FOUNDATIONS and those who are undecided. It’s an interactive and fun event.
Subsequent sessions consists of a ~45 minute large group video teaching, one hour (gender specific) small group discussion and a 1.5 hour homework component.
